Truth And Accountability League (TAAL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit advocacy organization with roots in defending Armenian identity, culture, and cultural arts. Today, TAAL has grown into a broader platform dedicated to combating hate, discrimination, and disinformation affecting marginalized communities, including women, LGBTQ+ individuals, ethnic and cultural minorities, and other underrepresented groups.
TAAL monitors and challenges bias across media, academia, public policy, and cultural institutions. The organization also promotes cultural arts, heritage preservation, and creative expression as tools for education, resilience, and cross-cultural understanding. Through educational programs, cultural initiatives, and community engagement, TAAL empowers individuals with the knowledge and tools to recognize, confront, and prevent prejudice, disinformation, and harmful narratives.
Our mission is to advance equity, promote accountability, and foster understanding through advocacy, education, and cultural arts, ensuring that all communities, including those of Armenian heritage, are represented, respected, and supported.
The Truth And Accountability League (TAAL) advances human rights, combats hate and disinformation, and promotes accountability through advocacy, education, media, cultural arts, and community engagement. We work with diverse communities to foster understanding, elevate underrepresented voices, and create opportunities for meaningful dialogue and civic participation. Through documentaries, public programs, partnerships, awareness campaigns, and educational initiatives, TAAL seeks to build stronger, more informed, and more inclusive communities while addressing issues that impact marginalized and vulnerable populations.
Truthfulness, respect, and tolerance are core values of TAAL. Our work is a true expression of our values inform our work and the change we seek in the world. These values also guide the strategy and tactics of all our programs and activities globally, nationally, and locally.
We speak out against hate, bigotry, discrimination, and injustice—even when we stand alone.
We stand up for all people who are the target of hate, oppression, and violence, including Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and Armenia.
